Baja Writers Workshop
Several members representing the Baja Writers Workshop from Rosarito Beach will participate in the Baja Book Festival.
Participating authors include Lynn Doiron, Alice Donenfeld-Vernoux, Jacquelynne Garner, Harald Eric Josua Lankisch, and Barbara Keller.
Published works for sale include: * “Poems from the Cactus Cafe,” # “Tails from the Baja Writers Workshop,” stories and poems about animals # “The Baja Blues,” a Baja tale by the late Joel Guerrero Pimentel

Nicole Beaudry
Book: Sweet Memories Fact or Fiction
Nicole Beaudry is best described as a multimedia artist: painter, sculptor and at long last, after retiring in Baja, a dedicated writer. Two years ago, her fun began with a first novel, Sweet Memories. This was quickly followed by Fact or Fiction. Super feedback from readers has ignited the writing engine and today, Nicole Beaudry is on fire! She is now close to finishing a third book entitled Illusions.

Marsh Cassady
Book: Baja y Yo
Marsh Cassady is the author of fifty-two published books and hundreds of shorter pieces, and his plays have been widely produced, including Off-Broadway. A former actor/director, he has a Ph.D. degree in theatre and taught various creative writing courses at UCSD. At Montclair State, he started an entire program in playwriting. He and his partner Jim Kitchen owned Los Hombres press and also published a literary journal Crazyquilt. His art is on display in several area galleries.

Peter Fowler
Book: Good Info for Gringos Living In Baja
Peter Fowler was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1924. He was a pilot in WWII. After the war he joined the Hawaii Air National Guard, retiring from the US Air Force in 1963. He completed his aviation career as a Captain for Hawaiian Airlines, retiring in 1981. He moved to Rosarito Beach in 2005 and became a writer. He self published a quick reference paperback, Good Info for Gringos Living in Baja. The 3rd edition is available at Amazon Books.

Martina
Book: A Call from the Heart, a Woman's Journey Through Spiritual Awakening
Martina has lived in northern Baja for 12 years, with a short magical period in Mulege in southern Baja of which she writes in Call From the Heart, a Woman’s Journey Through Spiritual Awakening. She is also an artist combining found objects and delicate seed-beading, and she has her work in many fine homes in Baja and the United States. Recently she created a unique on-line newspaper, The Baja Sun: Stories of Awakening, connecting like-minded men and women in both northern and southern Baja who are aware of the changing consciousness of humanity.

Miguel (Mike) Miller
Book: I love Baja
Mikel (Mike) Miller is a former journalist who can spot good stories and write them in ways that both inform and entertain readers. He is a member of the Baja Writers Workshop, and spends much of his retirement time on the Baja peninsula working on book projects and writing feature articles. His new book “I Love Baja!” is scheduled for publication in the fall of 2010. He edits a website at www.BajaGoldCoast.net.
