Jo Ann Knox owns Joanna Jones Galeria y Café.
Jo Ann Knox is nicknamed ‘Joanna Jones’, sister of Indiana Jones, because of her passion for adventure. She is a successful veteran of the film industry in Los Angeles, producing hundreds of commercials, educational projects and films for academy award winning directors. Her love of Baja brought her to Rosarito, Baja California, where – seven years ago -- she opened an art gallery and café with beautiful gardens and the support of many regional artists and the Baja community.
The gallery has become iconic, with impressive art exhibits and fundraisers, outstanding food and entertainment. Jo Ann's faithful companion, Mika the dog, shares ownership of the gallery with Jo Ann. Most recently, Jo Ann attended the wine school in Valle de Guadalupe and her wines are already receiving accolades -- including having won a blind tasting at La Casa Vieja in 2010, and being awarded second-place winner out of an even larger group of entries in 2011 La Casa Vieja blind tasting.
